The Monash Day Club service includes transport to and from home, group activities and outings, morning tea and a hot lunch.  The Club is a hub of activity in light, modern surrounds including gardens and large communal dining and games area.  It adjoins the Goodwin Monash Village.

    YMCA Senior Sports Carnival – Opening Ceremony

The YMCA Seniors Sports Carnival provides residents of Aged Care facilities in Canberra with an opportunity to participate in a celebration of physical activity suited to their abilities.  The Carnival consists of modified ‘sporting events’ held in a friendly competitive atmosphere.

Vikings Lanyon is providing a delicious Christmas lunch for local Seniors to enjoy in a relaxed and friendly environment. An opportunity for Seniors to mingle, chat and ’snack’ together in a relaxed and friendly environment with entertainment.

Tuggeranong 55 Plus Club is celebrating the season with songs courtesy of Uke 55 and Heart and Soul Singers followed by a carol fest and  ‘Chrismassy Supper’.

As part of Adult Learners Week this is an opportunity to come along to discover the hidden benefits of singing with a group of like-minded people.

Adult Learners Week 2018   1 – 8 September  ‘Learning Changes Lives’  is an annual international celebration of lifelong and life wide learning.

Vikings Lanyon is providing a a scrumptious morning tea for local Seniors to enjoy a relaxed and friendly environment.  An opportunity to mingle, chat and snack together while being entertained with a song or two.

    Winter Solstice Soiree – Tuggeranong 55 Plus Club
    Tuggeranong Senior Centre, Greenway

This year Christmas in July is being replaced by the Tuggeranong 55 Plus Club with a ‘Winter Solstice Soiree’. The shortest day and longest night of the year falls on June 21. To celebrate this event, there will be some Special Solstice Trivia, Songs of Solstice Singalong & some food for the Soul.

    ‘Impromptu Pop Up’ Rehearsal – Make Music Day / Winter Solstice
    South.Point, Greenway

Make Music Day is a free celebration of music making around the world on June 21st.   Completely different from a typical music festival, Make Music Day is open to anyone who wants to take part. It’s a DIY Music Festival! Every kind of musician can organise their own gig, or join the many organisations that will host events, to share their music with friends, neighbours, and strangers. All of it is free and open to the public.

Weston Creek VIEW Club was formed in 1971 and is always open to new members. . Currently, the Club sponsors one Smith Family Learning for Life student and is actively involved in fundraising activities to raise donations for The Smith Family programs.

St Andrew’s Village is a place of warmth, friendliness and tranquillity providing all levels of care, including dementia and palliative care.   Residents are encouraged to maintain their independence and contribute to the life of the Village. A regular, varied and extensive activity program is offered including bus outings and participation in community events.
